Introduction to MOS

MOS introduced its first product to the market in 2002 and have been building & supporting the agricultural industry ever since.

After years of study on the effect organic material and manuring have on the soil, MOS developed a specialized range of products that improves and restores the natural balances in the soil.

Various agricultural practices cause a decrease in the soil’s fertility. Fertilizers and agricultural chemicals harm the biological balances that are in the soil. Products produced and manufactured by  MOS (Microbial & Organic Solutions) are used to improve and restore the natural balances in the soil. The micro-climate in the soil is improved to help other organisms survive easier in the soil. Through this, healthy biological balances in the soil are created. Soil fertility is also rebuilt.

Improved soil fertility leads to root stimulation. Healthy roots help the plants build resistance against disease and drought. Improved root stimulation also helps in better utilization of plant nutrition (that is applied and those that are naturally in the soil). MOS Products are 100% organic and non-toxic for humans, plants and animals.

MOS-Super Food

MOS contains Azotobacter bacteria that are nitrogen binders that can easily bind 50kg/ha N within one season under favorable conditions. Applied ammonium nitrogen is converted easier to the nitrate form if there is good microbial activity.
Locked-up phosphate in the soil is made available for consumption to plants through microbes. Depending on the clay content in the soil, the phosphate levels can easily increase with 15 p.p.m. within one season without extra phosphate application.
Where MOS products are used as part of a biologically integrated program, even the cation balances are improved, even though no chemical supplements were applied.

For use where soil borne diseases are encountered, like Phythopthora and Pythium. It also has a good root stimulation effect and stimulates the plant to produce phito alexins for natural disease resistance.

MOS-Woema

For use in soils where chemicals imbalances have arisen, such as too much sodium in the soil, leading to chemical limiting layers that impair infiltration and aeration. MOS Woema also has a combination of organisms and organic acids that restore biological balances in the soil and promote composting of organic material. It consists of two species of Bacillus, Trichoderma, Azotobacter, composting organisms, amino and fulvic acids among others.

MOS-EnerG

For It is a foliar spray product consisting of aminogluconates and carious organisms to activate the plants’ energy systems. MOS EnerG consists of amino acids, fulvic acids, amino gluconates, and organisms such as Trichoderma, Azotobacter, and Pseudomonas Flourescans. It is also used in combination with foliar feeds to improve the absorption of elements.

MOS-pH

For use where the soil’s pH is low. Moss pH is also used in soils where there are problems with sclerotinia in the soils.

MOS-Super Food

An organic, dark brown mixture of fulvic and amino acids, which are made from animal products.

MOS-SI Leaf

Source of silica obtained from diatomite and zeolite. Used to reduce environmental stress on plants.

Black MOS

A humate based mixture with soil conditioning microbes to be used as microbial food where the soil pH is low.

MOS-Phito Mixing Instructions

MOS Phito Mixing Instructions

  • Tree Crops: 15-25 liter per hectare
  • Row Crops: 30 liter per hectare
  • Foliar Spray: 2 liter per hectare

Mix product with atleast 200 liter water and irrigate / incorporate with soil.

MOS Nbalance Mixing Instructions

  • Annual Crops: 20 liter per hectare MOS Nbalance combine with 12kg per hectare Fulvic Acid. Follow up 4 weeks later with 25L per hectare MOS Woema
  • Tree Crops: 20 liter per hectare MOS Nbalance combine with 12kg per hectare Fulvic Acid applied in spring and after harvest

Best results are achieved if previous crops are treated.

  • All Crops: 30 liter per hectare repeated twice per season
  • As Leaf Spray: 2% solution, spray after physical damage with solution on leaves

Can be combined with other chemicals. Do not make concentration too strong to avoid leave burn. Mix product with 200 liter water and irrigate/incorporate with soil.

MOS SI Leaf Mixing Instructions

  • For Maintenance: Dissolve 1L MOS Si Leaf and 2L MOS Grow. Spray as a leaf spray to achieve good wetting.

During In Climate Conditions

Dissolve 3L in 1000L water and add 4L MOS Grow. Apply once a month or once a week when in climate weather conditions are experienced.

Black MOS Mixing Instructions

  • All Crops: 10-25 liter per hectare, apply twice per season if needed with every fertilizer application.
  • All Crops: 20-40 liter per hectare, apply when used as a food source for microbes.
  • For Coating of Urea: Mix 13 liter with 1000kg Urea and allow to dry.

Mix Product with 200 liter water and irrigate or incorporate with soil.
